Michelle John recorded her Gospel Album “God Is“ on16th April 2024 at The Pool, Miloco Studios in London.

Michelle’s powerful vocals have always been rooted in Gospel Music. This album not only is a tribute to her upbringing but a testament of her faith in God.

This full-circle moment takes place at the church where it all started … Home! This album is a collection of some original songs and also some of the songs from her childhood: the songs her grandmother sang, songs from the Caribbean, songs carried over the seas by Valcina and Arnet—the Windrush generation—songs that have long been forgotten and almost lost. Michelle breathes new life into these songs with a modern twist!
